2013 Hoddles Creek Estate Pinot Noir

2013 Hoddles Creek Estate Pinot Noir

Really good balace of red cherries, acid and a fine line of tannin. Its hard to find a better way to spend $20 of wine. I dont know how they do it and I dont care. If my cellar was bigger I would buy and hold more of these.

Score

(Refined) Guide

Tasting:  Blind

What I’m tasting:  Red Cherries, raspberries, mild fine grit of tannin

What I’m thinking and feeling: Such a well constructed wine. Simple yet complex.

Where we bought it:  Direct

Price: $20

Region:  VIC - Yarra Valley

Wine(refined) Value Rating :

  • Exceptional value, we’ve bought some already Stupid value, get on it

Wine(refined) Quality Rating :

  • Where Did That Bottle Go? – You know, I didn’t give that wine a great deal of thought, but it did disappear much more quickly than I anticipated (between a few of us), which generally indicates an extremely good wine. (16-17/20)
